Dr Norman X. Greene was born in Jamaica but grew up in the
state of New Jersey. He successfully completed his Bachelor's Degree in
Biological Sciences and Psychology at Rutgers University, the state university
of New Jersey.
He then received his Doctorate of Medicine from Rutgers
Medical School in 2001. His post-graduate training in Obstetrics &
Gynecology was performed at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia &
Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Greene was then recruited to join Albert Einstein
University Hospital & Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Here
he was a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology and part
of his responsibility was teaching resident physicians to perform gynecologic
surgery and to manage obstetrical patients. He was a part of the faculty for 6
Dr. Greene also has an interest in infectious diseases and
was an attending in the Gynecologic Infectious Diseases Clinic at Montefiore
Medical Center for 4 years; there he treated patients who were HIV and/ or
Hepatitis C (+) who needed obstetric or gynecologic care. Dr. Greene also has
expertise in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and brings these skills to
join Cortland OB-Gyn Associates in Warren, Ohio.
